✔2. Document the activities the youngest granddaughter did during her visit.

✔6. Make progress quilting the butterfly.

Every time that I think I'm feeling comfortable with the process, I note an issue trying to happen. I can see that I need to add more stitches as the rug is trying to curl. I am loving the results so far! It now measurers 31 inches which is six more inches than last month!
✔8. Make progress on Lala's Irish Chain.
✔9. Determine what to do for the next book club quilt. We are reading Radium Girls by Kate Moore.
--I drew some thumbnail sketches. Picked one to pursue. After thinking about it, I decided to come up with a different design and use the main fabric. I even chose different fabrics. Now to make the pattern. . .

✒10. Do what I can to make progress on the Magnificent Mystery and Floral Baubles sew alongs.--I didn't work on Floral Baubles. Sitting is still not all that comfortable.
✔11. Recover from knee revision surgery--Because 23 months after knee joint replacement surgery, I still have pain and loss of mobility.

My October goals are:
1. Document making the back for Lala's Irish Chain.
2. Document my rug weaving process.
3. Pre-wash and starch some background fabrics for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.
4. Document my plan for the project for Radium Girls.
5. Make a Memory Bear. I cut out the pattern pieces from the flannel sheet that I'm using to make the woven rug.
I'm listing a few goals because this may be a difficult list to achieve. I sure hope that I'll be stitching. Three weeks into my knee revision recovery, however, my body is not ready for sewing. My last PT session set me back. I've returned to using the walker to get around the house. No position is currently comfortable. Sigh. . .I so want to be doing other activities!

Yes just look at all those check marks, you rock! Sorry you are having a set back, hope it is just temporary and the next PT isn't so harsh.
I am SO sorry to hear of your ongoing challenges with your knee revision! It all sounds so wrong when I hear about others with successful replacements and recovery. I really hope you see improvement soon, because it's obviously restricting your sewing activities. Though, I'm delighted to see the progress on your braided rug! It's looking fabulous in that two-color design. I'm thinking you need a LOT of each fabric to make a large quilt. But keep going! I admire your fabric-used/fabric-bought list too. So many yards used thus far this year! Great work! I also appreciate learning your book recommendation. I added it to my "saved" list. Keep healing and getting better.
You have such neat "on going projects"!! I love the fact your rug is so big you have to put it on the kitchen table. Your Radium Girls project looks fascinating. Sorry you had to get out the walker again (my Hubs had to do the same), and I hope your longed-for living happens soon!
I'm so sorry you're still struggling with the knee recuperation, Terry. Sending along good thoughts that this is the week it gets better. We have things we want to do, darn it! 🥰 Glad you accomplished so much in September. The rug weaving is amazing - it's really getting big!
Your woven rug is a fantastic project. I wish you good progress and lots of enjoyment with it.
And your "Lala's Irish Chain" is simply wonderful; I love that variety of colors.
I’m also keeping my fingers crossed for the cute keepsake bear, and—most importantly—hoping for a good recovery for your knee; that’s the main thing right now.
With love and best wishes, Viola
I am so sorry that you have had a setback with your PT in progress, Terry. Bless your heart- you have had a long journey in your knee recovery starting with the 1st surgery. It is so fun to get a glimpse of your rug progress- Sigh- Swoon. It is going to be so pretty. I love seeing your sketches as you plan your next project. You are staying busy. Warm hugs.
You had great success with last month's list, Terry, in spite of the knee surgery. I'm sorry to read of the set back and hope you are feeling much better soon.
Your rug is looking great! I love the colors you're using, too. I'm praying for your knee recovery.
Terry your rug is looking great. I’m sorry to hear your PT caused a problem. Thank you for sharing on To Do Tuesday. Hope this has been a better week for you physically and you’ve continued to get those check marks on your list. 🤗
